STOP THE WAR AGAINST THE PLANET
The threat of world war for the planet’s resources is a fact and an ever present reality. Endless Wars of conquest, plunder and subjugation, where the Military causes great and irreparable damage to our environment, our Eco System. Those who profit from these wars are holding the entire world hostage. World-wide suffering is on an unimaginable scale with no end in sight. The time to act is NOW!!!
A series of online events including roundtable discussions, presentations, cultural events, and workshops are planned with the emphasis on international dialogue. We plan to organize conferences in Tehran, Havanna, Caracas, Beirut, Baghdad, Tel Aviv, Quito, London, Detroit, New York, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Madrid, Athens, La Paz, Cairo, Beijing......................
We invite individuals, groups, activists, artists and musicians to participate in organizing events and spreading the word about this call for action and to bring in prominent supporters and organisations to support and participate in events in a city of their choice. Specific dates for events will be announced soon.
We welcome you to bring in your ideas and issues around the general theme of this Initiative. Everyone should feel free to make suggestions.
In Portugal, Spain, Greece, the US and other places from within the system, Military Personnel, Civil Servants, Health & Welfare Workers etc. are voicing their opposition to austerity and oppression. This initiative will create a platform for these voices to connect on an international level.
Resisters inside the Warmachine also feel the deadly effects of unprovoked predatory wars, intimidation and imprisonment. Their resistance plays a crucial role in the struggle to achieve a future for us all. Their efforts serve to expose the true corrupt nature of the System. Those efforts call us to action and warrants our support.
2013 needs to see a chain of events where people can participate in a forum of dialogue and action.
